Did you ever wake up during the night or in the morning after what seems like an almost realistic dream? So real that its affect has really moved you emotionally? I certainly have and in many cases I have carried the feeling of that particular dream for a day or two afterwards.
From my own experiences I can admit I have had countless cases of this nature. It almost feels like I have been driven by a force inside that demands my attention in a particular area of my life. That is the true significance of dreams that affect us in this way. They demand and require our attention.
Earlier on in my experiences with my dreams I did find myself in question of the relevance of the dreams and why I was feeling emotions to such a degree of intensity that I was still experiencing the feelings for sometimes several days afterwards. I found myself searching for answers. I would refer to dream dictionaries in an attempt to translate the meaning of the events portrayed in that specific dream. I even went to the extent of seeking for opinions and ideas from other people to find the truth! This was where I was missing the whole point of the experience in the first place!
The dreams we have are very personal for each of us. That is the true essence of them. We do dream for a reason and the answers we are searching for to interpret the meaning of the dream can be found when you reach understanding of the emotions that are brought about with it. How do you feel about your dream? Are the emotions of a positive or a negative nature? Do you feel happy or sad, angry or lost? This is the whole point!
Get in touch with your feelings. Search deep inside of yourself. This is where the truth lies. You will reach the truth of the matter only when you reach the understanding of your feelings, according to the sequence of events that were shown to you in the dream itself and how you are driven emotionally afterwards.
Dreams such as these usually do reflect an area of your life that requires some attention and some action in order to regain harmony and balance in the particular situation again. The dream is usually driven by what is going on inside your subconscious mind. On other occasions where dreams are existing in a form of mediumship for that person, the assistance will come through in the dream in some message form from their spirit guides for the dreamer to interpret in their way without interference or confusion placed by the application of the mind in its consciousness. In other words when the dreamer is awake! This is a common experience for me with my own dreams as I do admit to often creating problems in accurately interpreting information coming to me as I do have an active analytical mind.
The subconscious mind doesn't question or demand reason and logic, it just acts in accordance with how we programmed it in terms of how we live, behave and handle our lives consciously in conjunction with our emotional reactions in some situations..
So you see we all have our own answers inside. When you have a dream that moves you, accept it and your feelings and with that you should be able to begin to understand the essence of the dream and how you should translate the meaning for yourself.
The truth will never reveal itself in a dream dictionary or from any other outside source. These are only theoretical conclusions that will likely bring you more confusion when attempting to reach an understanding of the dream. Trust you own feeling and instinct and the truth will always reveal itself accordingly.
