Dear Rochelle,

My dad had passed away at a very early age, he
never had the opportunity to meet his first born son, we have spoken of
his 1st born is the past, and my father has always said to leave the
situation alone, he didn't want to harm the child or the mother, specially after
the years had passed. Well I located my fathers first born son and now have
what seems a wonderful relationship with him, his family does not like
the closeness that we both have , after 3 months of getting to know each
other.

My question is:
Is my father upset that I did this, is this going to hurt my brother in
the long run,,,was this all wrong ?? !!!!!!!

A lot has happened since and my brother is 44, and i am just not sure if
my father is ok with what I have done..or if things are going to be Ok for
my brother.

My guides state:  "You are correct in your actions (your father's energy is
coming in) "I  approve what actions you have taken" (states your father)
Look for syncronistic signs spritiual messages (feels like something
written) that will come to you soon verifying that you have acted in the
correct manner.  You understand that your father's wishes have come from
abuse history (feels like physcial), in which he was not able to contact
his father in an emotional sense and therefore was not able to complete his
psychological journey in complete physical form but felt spiritually drawn

Hello Rochelle-

I was very interested in your  column, and found your answers to be insightful as well. However, I am having difficulty with the concept of channeling spirit guides.  My feeling is that what you
and others have referred to as "spirit guides" are in truth your own higher
selves, tapping into the universal knowledge which is available to everyone.
I certainly respect the advice and knowledge that is shown-but isn't it a
lot like Edgar Cayce, the "sleeping prophet"? He did not channel an entity,
he simply was able to access the Akashic Records.  I am a bit skeptical when
I am told that someone is being given advice from some other higher being.
How do you know when the advice you give is from a different source that
your own higher "self"? (If there IS any other source, ultimately.) Thanks

Yes, yes and more yes.  (my guides response)  They state:  "you are incorrect in one assumption.  People must acknowledge their high self in order to access
it.  You are correct in understanding your effort to know and access information from another realm.  Your are trying to understand intelectually (is the the energy) what now must be completed by experience.  We suggest a practice of meditation three times per day for fifteen to thirty miutes.  This assumption of high
