For the longest time I wasn't quite sure what I was suppose to be doing or feeling about meditation. Sound familiar? How do you know if you are meditatinag? Just falling asleep or simply day dreaming?
I think the initial acknowledgement that I was doing something quiet unique and peaceful for myself was the first step. It was the feeling of having my own private time - my own peaceful quiet time. It was initiated by me because I wanted to.
For me it was simply listening to my own breathing. Breathing fast, slow, deep and shallow. All of them, some of them, sometimes all of them at once! It did feel more like choking or listening to a B horror flick at times. But I did get that sense of enjoying my private time with me. Yes it is important to laugh and have fun with it.
Meditation is a very unique and private experience for every individual. My meditations are clairaudient and clairvoyant. I hear and see my angels, guides and visions - things to come or things that presently exist in others lives whether it is past, present or future.
It is very much like tuning in to a radio station. You hear it fuzzy and you try to tune in better. You go back and forth past the channel - to the left, to the right, to the left, now to the right, hoping to get a clearer signal. When that signal is dead on you will be able to distinguish the difference.
Happy meditating everyone!
