The Curse Of The Green-Eyed Monster By Karen Foster |
|
Don’t you just love to delve into the real human behaviour and analyse the why’s of society. People fascinate me to the point of obsession and of all the options available for self-development - the best and biggest one of all is that of - life experience itself! How we complicate issues for ourselves because of our small-minded and closed in attitude and total lack of tolerance in an imperfect world; where we still feel above others to the point that we feel powerful and elevated enough to judge them according to our own standards? Or worse still, align ourselves to people whose influences are maybe less than savoury? It never seizes to amaze me just how powerful the word of mouth can be. That its potential for good or evil, can either help or hinder another persons reputation. That Chinese Whispers can escalate out of control and turn into something very alien to the original content. How we as people, seek gossip as a way of entertaining ourselves - at the cost of somebody else’s emotions. But most dreadfully of all, how we devour news of distress from those we have turned against and vice versa. The root to all our dark sides must therefore stem from the little ‘green-eyed’ monster called jealousy - subconscious or not - it’s often the culprit that sparks and ignites the fuse to the explosive; that will eventually either blow up in the face of our enemy or more than likely blow up in our own face. So, whether we like it or not we make our own Karma ( what you throw out, comes right back at you and sometimes sooner than later ) and that is the uncontrollable aspect of being human. The gift of course, to break this curse of mankind, is to rise above the things that have been set in place to otherwise trip you up. To learn, mature and rise above the trapping of cruelty. As it states in the Bible: “Love your Enemies” and whilst this may appear to be a difficult thing to accomplish, once mastered can be the easiest option to take in the face of adversity. My motto is simply this: “If you look at something differently, it will ALWAYS appear differently”. And there are always two sides to every story. Join me in my quest to find the true balance in a world that is unqualified to dictate anything to anyone. And where learning to evolve can catapult you onto the next level of understanding - spirituality. Karen Foster (AstroStar Numerology) |
