The entire month of March will display the contrasts that exist in our lives and in the world we live in. The spiritual and the material world are explored within an extreme spectrum and through the oppositions we have within ourselves. This is not a new idea or a new challenge. It has existed throughout the Piscean Age and maybe throughout all time. Certainly, sense last November's eclipses we have been called into a greater level of responsibility for individual and collective intention for soul evolution. This wake up call at times involves painful experiences. I witness the intensity in many people's lives, including my own. The primary message here is "Take care of yourself so that you can take care of others".

This month will bring many insights and will expand your consciousness, as well as challenge the illusions and fears that stand in the way of your progression and productivity. By late March there will be new beginnings or resurrections. Religion and spirituality play a big part in our thoughts and feelings. With Uranus continuing his journey through Pisces late February and March should be quite amazing. I myself am looking forward the film produced by Mel Gibson called "The Passion". I am also aware of the Mayan Calendar prediction of the alignments of Venus in June and the focus of this as an avenue of the returning of Christ consciousness. My intention is to be receptive and to listen.

Let's begin by looking at the Virgo Full Moon chart on March 6th. Most planets are in Earth and Water signs accenting the feminine polarity. Intuition, the Goddess within all of us brings empowerment, and our relationship to planet Earth becomes more of a priority. There will be illumination, as usual, with any Full Moon cycle. However, this cycle can be very challenging given the hard angle aspects with Pluto that involve the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Jupiter.

With Sun in Pisces and Mars and Venus in Taurus and Saturn in Cancer there will be a heightened sensitivity to the calling from Spirit, as well as a concern about the mundane aspects of daily living.

2004 is a year for manifestation in the physical world in cooperation with greater spiritual awareness with a focus on creating balance and harmony on a level of planetary evolution. From the numerology aspect of 2004 we are aligning with number six, which brings in the lovely influence of Venus. Venus has a major impact on a cosmic or astronomical level for 2004 and for 2012. We must cooperate with the little things as well as respond to the big things. What I mean is that you do what is necessary without forgetting about what is most important.

The Spring Equinox on March 20th is very strong as the Aries New Moon occurs on the same day. The energy you will feel changes dramatically with the addition of fire influence and the urge to take a stand and to emerge into whatever is new and right for you. Pluto's position and the beginning of the
retrograde cycle a few days later reinforce this resurrection. The urge to get moving on your path will dominate and the desire to do what works in both the spiritual and material worlds will motivate your choices. Consider this time to be a rebirth. Do the rituals that reinforce new beginnings. The next few months will be amazing if you choose to align with the Christ Consciousness.

The Sabian Symbol for the Aries New Moon is one of my favorites: "A woman has risen out of the ocean, a seal is embracing her." Contemplate on this image. I see this as a statement of emergence, yet filled with female energy with excitement about what is to be discovered in a new world. You come up with your own interpretation of this very powerful vision.

The power of the feminine energy is charged with the fire of the masculine. This must be balanced within us in the way that brings healing. This Aries New Moon cycle offers opportunity for tapping into your courage to move forward in cooperation with the higher forces. May you walk in the light each day?
