Human nature is a funny thing. Complicated! So full of goodness and yet of badness too. Just when you think you have your lover or best friend figured out, some other mind-boggling enigma needs to be analyzed.
When I first heard of the concept of "collective unconscious" I was thrilled. How could I ever feel alienated again since we all shared some of the same data fundamentally? It really was a revelation. Unfortunately, I had not taken into account that what each soul chose to make of this wonderful shared information really depended on what it needed for growth in this lifetime. I soon learned through experience that people were not only different from each other, the revelled in their uniqueness and pursued it endlessly. I too wanted to feel "unique"!

Sadly though, this desire I possessed also made me feel alienated from everyone else. I began to yearn for 'connectedness'. I just could not resign myself to a lifetime spent feeling this way. It was around that time that I discovered astrology.
Awesome!

This meeting with astrology was truly a god-send. Suddenly, I felt connected to my fellow souls, albeit in a much different and dare I say, healthier way. I was not able to see that although each of us is in fact unique, astrology shows us that we are all linked in many different ways.

This column is therefore dedicated to humanity and all the wonderful souls comprising it. We will discover our inter-connectedness and through it, hopefully, gain much needed empathy and sympathy for our fellow human beings.
