Kimberly Zapf Aka
Ask Kimmie - 33
By Kimberly Zapf Aka
Kimmie -The relationship that barely got started with the lady with MS is now over. Her son caused a problem by making a family crisis over an e-mail he saw he shouldn't have. Her son is in his early 20s and she has dated before but I sensed I wasn't to his liking so I ended it. Why can't grown kids let their parents be happy? Now, I returned to dating a lady I dated before. Her birthday is 5-3-57 and I'll remind you that mine is 8-6-52. What do you see for us? We have had communication issues in the past and I'm working on those now.   -Doug

Doug, I am so proud of you for following your heart.  If the son wasn't there would you still be around?  I am curious.   What is missing here.  I agree.....they need to step away.  No doubt being over protective.   This new lady has good aspects.  I like the previous one better:)  More emotional strength.  You are a pretty loving guy!  Either way you will be happy.  Do me a favor.  Don't rush things.  I feel that you are going too fast! Slow down.  Sometime we feel afraid to be alone and we grab onto whatever we can in order to feel "Safe".  In this instance your need to control this may only push her away even more.  Let her go and give it time.  When May comes around you should have more answers.

Peace,
Kimmie
