Nick Arandes was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. At the age of 21, Nick moved to Miami, Florida, hoping to improve his English. A year
later, he realized that all he had improved was his Spanish.

With an inherent proclivity for music and a natural flair for making people laugh, Nick went to a comedy open mic in Miami, Florida after friends suggested he
try comedy. It wasn't long before Nick found himself sharing the stage with a wide variety of nationally renowned performers such as multi-platinum recording
artist Patti Labelle, comedians Chris Rock, Drew Carey and Jamie Fox. He even moved to California when 20th Century Fox placed him on a holding deal for a

Nick began his quest for personal growth after hitting bottom emotionally and realized that all the dreams and achievements he had pursued over the years were no longer fulfilling. He learned the art of meditation around 1986 and deepened his spiritual journey to the point where his passion for music, and even comedy,
started to dissipate. He became hungry for "soul food", not "collard greens," but "spiritual" soul food.

For the next ten years, he continued to make a living as a comedian, but somewhere deep within he knew that comedy was not his life's purpose. During that time Nick wrote his first book, The Amazing Power of Your Beliefs and More!

Shortly after moving to California Nick authored his next book All Your Dreams are Meant to be Fulfilled along with an array of inspirational writing. He then went on to write Your were Born To Manifest Miracles, produced an array of inspirational CD such as Dare to Make the Turn, Manifest Your Dreams, Think Like A Millionaire! and have written many articles that have been published in spiritual publications all around the world.

In the midst of all his creative writing, something interesting happened. His childhood passion for music resurfaced. Nick came from a very musically inclined family. As a child he began playing the piano by ear. He then picked up the guitar and started playing simple Beatles songs and with the help of a teacher moved up to more complex pieces such as flamenco and classical guitar.

Having a great sense of rhythm he experimented with drums. By the time he was a teenager, he had experience as a percussionist, pianist, guitarist, and singer. Nick established his own recording studio so that he could work on his personal projects. He was taken by surprise when local artists began to ask Nick to help produce their music and even master their recordings. Nobody could believe that Nick have given up music for over a decade to pursue spiritual growth.

After recording his first CD, and finding himself dealing with a more balanced life, the teacher within Nick resurfaced. It was as if some invisible force guided him along his path. The experiences led Nick to a powerful realization;

"We do not need to spend our lives in pursuit of goals or tangible things which we think are going to bring us happiness. All we need to do is listen to that quiet voice within, the voice that only speaks through our heart's desires. As a result, we will be directed to the course of action to take, resulting not only in the manifestation of every possible goal we have ever dreamed of, but also to experience a more joyous, creative and fulfilling life."

Nick stated "My purpose in life is to bring joy, happiness, and encouragement to every person I come into contact with; and to devote my entire life to the development and growth of my spiritual, mental, and physical capacities so that I can serve as an example to others."

Nick did not realize how close he was to realizing his purpose while he overcame the challenges and life experiences he faced in the next years. These challenges led to the birth of The Truth About Series.
